So Are We Going or Not?

Monday's Outlook
Tuesday's Outlook:

I will look at the some models and the SPC's SREF whenever I get back from church. The location is great for us...

A sad day at the 21 double oh snap...

So..I came home from work today and found my beta fish "Sticka" dead and floating peacefully at the top of the tank. After the initial shock settled I was able to compose myself and get on with everyday life. Services will be tomorrow at 1pm for all those that would like to say any final words to Sticka. RIP buddy....

A Good Outlook

I know you could just go to the SPC for this, but I like to post it:

That looks like a great location for us. More updates to come later.

11:20AM UPDATE:
This looks great from some good shear:
Lets check a forecast sounding:
Good directional shear, very little speed shear and crappy CAPE. Still think its a little to far to use these forecast soundings. I just don't like them too much (I dunno why). One last check of the dewpoints:
That looks pretty nice. Time to wait and see what else happens.

Im in Port Arthur...

Just wanted everyone to know what was going on in my life. I am back home while alex is in houston with her mom looking for a wedding dress. She found one today but it still coming home tomorrow. The one she found today "spoke" to her, but of course I cant know anything about it.

my mom is remodeling her house, and I dont have a room to sleep in for the next couple of days so I am staying the night at alex's house. It is just me and my future father in law. its been pretty cool watching sports and shooting the breeze.

Well im sure no one cares, but we all need to post everyonce in a while to share whats goin on in our lives.

I think i will end all my post like Fuqing Zhang

Cheers!

More Jobs....

Instead of posting them like last time, I will just put up the link:

http://www.nwas.org/jobs.html

I want all of us to find jobs and use our degrees, so check this out.

Newest Outlook

Here's the newest SPC outlook. Still basically the same location. I haven't checked the models yet, but I will do that soon. I really want to wait until we get within 87 hours so we can use the SPC's SREF. I think this is the one we should chase. Its pretty far north, but thats where the jet stream will be until September.

10:20 AM UPDATE:
I'm not so sure anymore. I need someone else to convince me.
Looking at the GFS I see this:
However, I don't think the shear will be that great. Apparently, neither is the CAPE:
One last image, from the HPC:
Interesting that they have a dryline plotted...

Possible Chase...

This could be what we are all waiting for. Day 6 and 7 are Monday and Tuesday of next week. We all need to look at some things a little more and decide what we want to do.

Where is Jennifer, Chris, Emile, Zack, and Tiffany?
