Haha yeah. At least we're getting some rain. They shipped half my office to Miami so we could continue operations. I'm still here though but it's nice to have a rainy day.
They had to make the decision on Monday morning and by then it was still hard to tell if it was going to go hurricane or not so they went ahead and did it. Better safe than sorry I guess.
Edouard wasn't quite the system people had hoped for...(IMO...should have been Edouardo, it sounds cooler), but I got to go down to Houston for a few days. It was a good experience.
we finally got some of edouard here...some good downpours but really wasn't as widespread as the remnants of dolly were. Surprising it wasn't more of a widespread rain event seeing as how a front pushed in at the same time.

did your office really think it was going to be that bad? it was just a tropical storm...some rain showers. im surprised by that..
